Im Kontext des vom IWU koordinierten EPISCOPE-Projekts ist eine Sonderausgabe der internationalen Fachzeitschrift „Energy and Buildings“ erschienen, in der aus den verschiedenen EPISCOPE-Fallstudien berichtet wird: Energy and Buildings Volume 132 (15 November 2016) „Towards an energy efficient European housing stock: monitoring, mapping and modelling retrofitting processes“, zum Überblick.
