How to find us
With public transportation
Starting at the central train station in Darmstadt, take the tram no. 1 or 5 heading towards the city center to the stop “Berliner Allee”. Continue down the Rheinstraße towards the city center for about 200 meters until you reach the IWU at Rheinstraße 65 on the left side of the street.
You can find the current schedules for the tram at RMV.
Alternatively, you can reach the IWU by foot (10 minutes). Starting at the central station take the Mornewegstraße straight ahead, then turn right into the Feldbergstraße and turn left into the Rheinstraße.
By car
Via A5 (Frankfurt/M. - Heidelberg/Basel) or A67 (Köln/Wiesbaden - Mannheim)/A672:
Leave the autobahn at the “Autobahnkreuz Darmstadt” and head towards the city center. It leads you directly to the Rheinstraße. A limited amount of parking spaces are provided in front of the IWU. More parking spaces can be found at the Steubenplatz (turn left at the Kunsthalle).
